These have been created and used by me in our homeschool. I am a homeschooling mom of 8 children and currently use these with my youngest child, who is preschool age. (Some of my older children enjoy these too!)

Use sheet protectors with the letter mats, or laminate them. I recommend laminating the letter cards for durability. You could leave the recipes as they are.

Laminating Hint - I am a frugal mom with so many mouths to feed, so I print the letter cards onto cardstock from our home printer and cover them with quality clear packing tape (overlapping so no paper is left uncovered and sticking out from all sides) - front and back. Stick the "outer edges tape not covering paper" together. Then I cut around the edges with a little of the tape sticking out to laminate them. (I hope that made sense. Message me if you would like me to email photo examples of how to do that.) This keeps the cost for me under $6 including paper, ink and tape. *If cutting cards, cut them out first, then laminate.
